A surprisingly good grocery store in a town that didn't used to be able to claim easy access to high quality food. The store is large and airy with broad aisles and a good selection of food, ranging from the cheap stuff to the more expensive and higher quality items. Whether it be non-food groceries you need (cleaning supplies, paper plates, etc.) or food (deli, baked goods, produce, meat, dairy) this is a good place to shop. Twenty years ago I never would have dreamed Plymouth would get such a good grocery store. Yes, if you want large and cheap, there is a Walmart in town, but if you want to go to one store and get everything you need in the way of groceries, in particular good quality produce, meats, and deli items, then this is the place to go in this area.

Big store. Better than average prices and no discount card needed. Great selection considering the location. Found some good deals. I only had one disappointment with some fancy cheese from Vermont that was bad already even though the expiration was 1/23. It had that ammonia smell. Had to toss it and it was about eight dollars for a small piece. Other than that, I was happy with my purchases. I got a yogurt drink at regular price here of 1.67. I had got the same product in Massachusetts at another grocery the day before for 2.19.

Market basket is my first excursion to a major supermarket since the pandemic has started. So I will start by reviewing their safety measures. - carts are sanitized - masks are required in store - there are clear markers for social distancing in the lines - all the people working there are wearing masks - most of the isles are one way I have to say I really appreciate seeing these measures in place. That said, here's a bit a bout the market. It seems to always be very well stocked, and I really appreciate seeing some more unique/seasonal items come in and out. - huge dairy section (Mills, cheese, etc) - limited selection of fresh seafood - but the quality is top notch so this has become the biggest reason I shop here - some gluten free items (breads, pizza) - Limited selection, but the prices are amazing. - limited international section - But I was able to find fresh Thai Basil(once), maitake mushrooms, organic tofu, as well as daikon radish, mung bean sprouts, bok choy, etc. - pasture raised/organic chicken limited/non-existent. Frozen shrimp has added chemicals. - organic vegetables very limited - fantastic store brand maple syrup (surprisingly better than other small farm brands we've tried in the area) I am grateful to have this place to shop that, especially during these times. The people working here are also really friendly and nice, which makes this place even better!
